The fund is an active ETF published by Van Eck, a US New York asset management company. It aims to invest in standardized, cash-settled Bitcoin futures contracts traded on commodity exchanges registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The fund does not directly invest in Bitcoin or other cryptoassets, but seeks to invest in Bitcoin futures so that the total value of Bitcoin with economic risk exposure is approximately 100% of the fund's total assets.
