Run the command in your terminal. Then open the claude terminal UI, type /mcp, select rockflow, choose Authenticate and follow the OAuth flow.

codex mcp add rockflow --url https://mcp.rockflow.aiGo to Settings → Connectors, click Add in the top right → Add custom connector. Use rockflow as the name and the endpoint as the URL, click Add, then complete OAuth.
Settings (bottom right) → MCP Servers → Add Server. In "Connect to a custom MCP" set Name to rockflow, type to Streamable HTTP and URL to the endpoint, leave the rest empty and Save. Back in the list, click Authenticate on the rockflow entry.
Settings → MCP Servers → add a Remote MCP Server and paste the endpoint above.
In the sidebar: Skills and Connectors → Connectors → New Connector → Custom. Set Name to rockflow and Server URL to the endpoint, click Add Connector and follow the RockFlow OAuth flow.
Any client implementing the MCP OAuth 2.1 standard can usually connect via "add custom MCP server / connector" with the endpoint above. RockFlow MCP currently offers no alternative to browser-based authorization, so use a client that can open a browser; if connecting fails, update the client to its latest version first.

After adding the RockFlow MCP configuration, the first call triggers authorization.

The client opens a browser on the RockFlow sign-in and consent page.

Sign in with your RockFlow account, choose paper or live trading, and approve the requested scopes.

Once authorized, the client holds the credentials and the MCP tools are ready.

Credentials refresh automatically per the OAuth policy.
Paper trading uses virtual funds and touches no real assets — the paper account is created automatically when you authorize, with nothing extra to apply for, so it is ideal for a first run. Live actions affect real account assets.
Authorize paper trading first and get familiar with how the tools behave before going live. Once authorized, all tools are available — there is no separate read-only scope — so begin with low-risk calls such as quotes and positions.
For placing or cancelling orders, ask the AI in your prompt to confirm with you before executing, and add constraints such as "no single trade above X".
OAuth credentials are managed by the client — avoid copying them into untrusted environments.
Periodically review the AI clients you have authorized and revoke the ones you no longer use.

Check that your RockFlow account is in good standing with the required verification completed, then remove the existing configuration in your client, add it again and re-authorize.
Authorization has not been completed or has expired. Re-run the OAuth flow in your client and try again.
The tools and data available depend on your account type (paper / live) and the scopes you granted. A client that does not fully implement the MCP OAuth 2.1 standard also cannot complete authorization.
