About EQT Energy
EQT is an independent natural gas producer primarily focused on the core areas of the Marcellus and Utica shale formations in the Appalachian Basin in the eastern United States. Its main customers include marketers, utilities, and industrial operators within the Appalachian Basin. The company operates through three reporting segments: Production, Gathering, and Transmission, with the latter currently managed as a joint venture alongside Blackstone. All of EQT's operating revenue is derived from U.S. operations, with the majority generated from the Marcellus Shale gas fields and natural gas sales.
