Its largest business segment focuses on the design, development, manufacturing, and marketing of interior and exterior auto-dimming mirrors that utilize Gentex’s proprietary electrochromic technology, which dims the mirror in proportion to the headlights of vehicles behind. With a worldwide marketing presence, Gentex distributes its products globally, and more than half of the interior rearview mirrors it sells include advanced electronic features.
