NuScale Power Corporation was established as an exempt company in the Cayman Islands on August 20, 2020. The company is redefining nuclear energy through the development of proprietary and innovative Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technology, which aims to deliver safe, scalable, cost-effective, and reliable carbon-free power. At the heart of their technology is the NuScale Power Module ("NPM"), capable of generating 77 MWe of electricity, built on robust nuclear technology principles that emphasize component integration, system simplification or elimination, and the use of passive safety features. This design ensures that power plants are not only safe and reliable but also suitable for locations close to where electricity or process heat is needed. Their flagship VOYGRTM ("VOYGR") power plant represents a scalable design that can accommodate up to 12 NPMs, yielding a total generation capacity of 924 MWe.
