About International Tower
International Tower Hill Mines Ltd. was incorporated in Canada on May 26, 1978, originally under the name Ashnola Mining Company Ltd., before changing its name to International Tower Hill Mines Ltd. on March 15, 1991. The company currently holds, or has the right to acquire, an interest in the Livengood Gold Project, a development-stage asset located in Alaska. To date, the company has not commenced mining operations or achieved commercial production at the Livengood deposit. Since early 2008, its primary focus has been the exploration and advancement of the Livengood Gold Project, dedicating the majority of its resources to this endeavor. In August 2010, the company completed a corporate spin-off transaction that separated all of its mineral interests other than the Livengood Project into a standalone entity. Since then, International Tower Hill Mines Ltd. has retained Livengood as its sole mineral asset, concentrating on ongoing exploration and potential development of the project.
