Energy Fuels Inc. is a prominent American company specializing in critical minerals. The company is engaged in uranium mining and the production of natural uranium concentrate, which it supplies to nuclear power plants for the generation of low-carbon nuclear energy. It operates two major uranium production facilities in the United States: the White Mesa Mill in Utah and the Nichols Ranch ISR facility in Wyoming. The White Mesa Mill, currently in operation, is the only conventional uranium mill in the U.S. and has a licensed capacity of approximately 8 million pounds of U3O8 per year. Meanwhile, the Nichols Ranch facility is also in production, with a licensed capacity of around 2 million pounds of U3O8 annually. In addition to uranium, the company also produces vanadium. Energy Fuels holds several licensed and developed standby uranium and vanadium mines, along with other projects that are currently under development.
