1988年進入房地產行業，經過30多年的發展，現已成為國內領先的房地產企業。目前，其主要業務包括房地產開發和物業服務。公司聚焦都市帶發展戰略。截至2014年底，公司已進入中國大陸65個城市，分佈在以珠三角為核心的廣域和縱深區域、以長三角為核心的上海區域、以長三角為核心的北京區域。以環渤海為核心。還有由中西部城市組成的成都。此外，公司自2013年開始嘗試海外投資，在香港、新加坡、舊金山、紐約等4個海外城市參與了6個房地產開發項目。 2014年公司實現銷售面積1806.4萬平方米，銷售額2151.3億元，居世界同行業領先地位。公司物業服務業務以万科物業發展有限公司（以下簡稱“万科物業”）為主體。万科物業始終以提供一流的物業服務、做好施工管理為立業之本。截至2014年底，公司物業服務覆蓋中國大陸61個大中城市，服務項目457個，合同管理面積10340萬平方米。
