Coinbase was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California. It is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the US, representing transactions of Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, Tezos, and many other cryptocurrencies. It supports the use of legal tender in about 32 countries and transactions and storage of Bitcoin in 190 countries around the world. The main trading locations are North America and Europe.
